Raise your glasses and pop the confetti – we've hit the quarter-century mark on our podcast adventures! I'm omgs Wicks, and together with the effervescent Lina Slim and the ever-grounded Manny Knoxx, we're toasting to personal milestones and belly-laugh inducing holiday capers. From Lena's rejuvenating birthday tales to my own reflections on Christmas quirks, such as the inexplicable charm of terrible holiday movies, we're sharing the warm, fuzzy, and sometimes absurd escapades that make the yuletide oh-so-memorable.

Turning the page to New Year's, the landscape of resolutions is as varied as the people who make them. We find ourselves chuckling over workplace shenanigans and pondering the psychology behind our annual pledges for self-improvement. Whether it's the societal dance of dating preferences or the colorful characters we encounter in our professional lives, we peel back the layers on personal growth and the resilience it takes not just to set goals but to stick to them amidst life's curveballs.

And just when you thought it couldn't get any wilder, we share tales straight from the sun-soaked absurdity that is Florida – where presidential pets, emotional support snakes, and characters worthy of their own reality show reign supreme. As we wrap up, our conversation takes a turn towards the profound as we consider the power of positive motivation and nurturing the next generation. Join us for an episode that's as much about embracing the hilarity of life as it is about fostering the spirit of perseverance and self-belief.

Speaker 1:

No, I went from like a panther to a cougar, I think, like you know, talk about.

Speaker 2:

But why didn't you? No see, but why go from a panther to a cougar and not just become a pan-oogre? Oh my God, it's Wicks, Wicks. Oh my God, God, oh, I'm GS, Wicks. Oh, I'm GS Wicks. Oh my God, it's Wicks, Wicks. Woo, woo, woo. Oh, I'm GS Wicks.

Speaker 3:

What's happening, everybody? This is the OMGS Wicks show. I am the host, omgs Wicks. We are at episode 25. We're still in this thing. I'm gonna toss it and let everybody else introduce themselves, because we got some things to get to what's up.

Speaker 2:

This is Manny Knox. Don't forget like, share and subscribe. Please Support us. We need you Like the air we breathe, but I'm so excited to be here. This is gonna be another moment in history. I remember when I was in a relationship and women used to touch me, I used to go, whew, yeah, but anyways.

Speaker 4:

PTSD.

Speaker 2:

But anyway, go ahead, my bad.

Speaker 1:

It's Lena Slim. Hello, hello, hello. I'm back to the States.

Speaker 3:

That's right. That is right. How was your vacation, by the way?

Speaker 1:

It was amazing.

Speaker 3:

It was amazing.

Speaker 1:

It was amazing. I really have to do that more often, but you know that's what's up?

Speaker 2:

I only go to.

Speaker 1:

Columbia. For one reason, don't do it. Good coffee, we'll keep it at that, but yes, I'm back.

Speaker 3:

How was your birthday?

Speaker 1:

Too lit.

Speaker 3:

I see you out here, in these streets, I see you, I don't want to get this show.

Speaker 1:

You know it's a family show, but we're going to keep it to myself. But you saw the snap.

Speaker 3:

I seen it. It was lit. You had a good time.

Speaker 1:

I did, that's all that matter. My friends came through. Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, push the button. All right, man, how was your week I?

Speaker 2:

definitely didn't get to push any buttons. I mean, I know you guys are seeing this after, but we're talking about Christmas weekend, right, yeah, christmas weekend, it was cool. It was a nice combo of party and relaxation Good, good mix. Ok, had a family Christmas party. I got invited to decide a lack of second. I'm a go because I don't want people to think I mess with them. You know what I'm saying. But then I was like it was cool. And then for Christmas I took my niece and nephew and my sister and we watched a scary Christmas movie which one? Krampus? Ok, ok, it's terrible, but it was great, but it was the moment, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Every time people bring up something bad.

Speaker 1:

Just save it up. It's a bad movie.

Speaker 3:

I like scary.

Speaker 2:

Christmas movies. I like bad movies so it was good. What about some happened at this party that I want to talk about. So before I get into it, like how was my job?

Speaker 3:

Well, me, I spent some time with my kids on Christmas. My birthday came and I did nothing, and I know it's so weird, but I always take my birthday to just sit and just do nothing.

Speaker 1:

Sit still and do nothing, but you know, your birthday is a week long.

Speaker 2:

That is true. No, their birthdays are a week long when you're a woman. Oh, now my birthday Actually some women it was a month long.

Speaker 3:

Lena, let's celebrate right now.

Speaker 4:

This is all about building memories.

Speaker 1:

OK, at least I, and I turn 36, and three and six is my lucky numbers. Oh, what is it? So I mean I had to go. Well, you know what?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I had to do with two lucky numbers. See, that's what I'm talking about. They try to overdo everything.

Speaker 1:

I got to look at numbers to I did a weekend.

Speaker 1:

My birthday landed on a Friday, so I did celebrate Friday. Saturday I took a break from Friday and then, you know, kind of got my energy back and then did it again Sunday to be out work early in the morning. Let me tell you, it was so hard. I do feel my age sometimes. I was. I work Monday morning and luckily I had a lot of coffee, but there was a moment that I was about to start a meeting and I'm holding my coffee like this and I'm like yo, where are my coffee cup? And my supervisor was like the one you're holding.

Speaker 2:

And I was like oh okay.

Speaker 3:

My bad, here we go. Yeah, you right, I was just playing, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I was testing you. I awake, yeah, but it was lit, it was good and Christmas was really awesome. I spent it in South America with my family. I haven't seen them in a Christmas in over four years, so it was much, much much needed.

Speaker 2:

I can celebrate Christmas the same way we do.

Speaker 1:

So they're very religious, so they take Christmas real serious. So I mean I'm talking about they block streets, they do street festivals, they do every house in the block is like has Christmas lights. They do shows like it's lit, lit, that's what's so we slacking. Oh yeah, for sure we got to turn it up.

Speaker 3:

Next, we got to turn it up. We got to turn it up. I want to play baby Jesus, but my, but my birthday, you know, I turned 40.

Speaker 2:

So it's black, don't crack, look at him. Look at him, no, but he's okay.

Speaker 3:

But I think, because I do so much and my kids were calling me like Dad, let's do something like I do so much during the year especially not that I do the content creation thing and trying to do these shows I got like you know, I'm going to take today for me and my kids. They kept calling me. Of course, my family and everybody else, like you, should do something, and I'm like I do something all year. So this is the day that I'm going to take and I ended up working, but whatever, that's what I do. So, but many have some Christmas photos that mean little, since you're going to make a shirt and I feel like I need to show up in the matching shirt.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, we should have text each other and plan this and just surprised him I don't think I got to do all that. Just since he is reaction, yeah.

Speaker 2:

But my brother wanted to like recreate a old the JCPenney, jcpenney, you know you got a old family photo and you recreate it when you're older. Who did the photo shoot? There was some dude at JCPenney. We did the JCPenney.

Speaker 1:

Oh no, it is a whole trend on TikTok.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I got to go do it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, oh, I was dope.

Speaker 2:

I know y'all saw a picture of the couple that did it, the black couple, where, like he got her wig on in one of the pictures it was the same guy he was telling us he went viral with the photographer. He took those pictures.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's awesome.

Speaker 2:

I didn't know about this trend until after. If I would have known, you would have done it. No, you know how hard in the paint and the things I would have thought of, because what you saw was just off the top of the head, off the light, oh no.

Speaker 2:

There was one funny thing that happened to, though. So he's trying to think of poses for us and I like him, so I'm not going to be disrespectful because he was a cool dude, but he kind of put some disrespect on my name. So one pose, he wanted us on the floor and he looks at me and then he look at my sister. He tells my sister all right, I need you on the floor. He goes, you got back problems. She's like, nah, I'm good, Even though she do got back problems. And then he's like all right, I want you on the floor. And I stop. I says let's stop everything, sir. I said I looked in your eyes, you saw the way I'm built and you think I can't get on this floor.

Speaker 2:

I said, I told him it's going to be okay, what you need me to do, put me on this floor. I said use me, abuse me, direct me what you need on this floor. You know I dropped it like it's hot on him. I let him know I talk a little bit down. I said hey, don't judge a.

Speaker 4:

Don't judge a book by the cover, bro.

Speaker 2:

I tell him don't judge a book by the cover. I got low on them. Okay, and from there he knew that he got low. You know so. But now we did that. It was cool. But if I might, I might forget. But next year I will go hard and do some crazy stuff on a photo shoot.

Speaker 1:

Did you give those pictures to your mom?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, my brother got those for my mother, like in a little album, type of thing. I don't know how he did. Yeah, he printed it out. I think he did like frames and stuff.

Speaker 1:

Did you record her reaction?

Speaker 2:

I wasn't there.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, oh, that's part of those videos. Well, here's the thing. You see the parents reaction. They're cracking up.

Speaker 2:

We're going to be real and this is the story of my life. Had I not gone to that photo shoot, there would be no sauce, there'd be no good gift to give. I didn't know it was supposed to happen. I just decided to show up last second. I gave you all the sauce already, so you're welcome. Do what you must with the sauce Now. Go ahead and cook.

Speaker 1:

Okay. I'll let you tell it.

Speaker 3:

But I mean that's, that's what's up. I mean so that now you're trying to say what you're trying to say is I got to do the matching pajamas because I finally found somebody to do the matching pajamas? Oh, you got one of those.

Speaker 1:

I got one, yeah, so I was close, I was close, I was close, I was close.

Speaker 2:

Because when you talk to us, you act like you single to the world. But I am low key. How can you be single, single but then be that close? Because, that'll make sense is their steps?

Speaker 1:

Yes, talking to getting to know someone. Talking to someone making it official.

Speaker 2:

But I'm saying I feel like you got to be together for a certain amount of time to do matching pajamas.

Speaker 1:

I mean, that's true.

Speaker 2:

Well, I don't know that timeframe is, but it can't be so. Please listen, listen.

Speaker 1:

I'm confused myself, okay.

Speaker 3:

I feel, like you ever see somebody that had matching pajamas on Christmas and then they sing along Valentine's Day. That, I guess possible. Yeah but I'm talking about to get there, though.

Speaker 2:

Oh, to get to pajama status.

Speaker 1:

You know you could be together like a month or two, and it happened. Just don't include the kids, though.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, don't include.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

This is y'all. I think that's way too serious for a month or two.

Speaker 1:

I mean, how serious is it if I get to break it in the month and make it matching?

Speaker 2:

pajamas. It's not see. No, because these are memories. So are you in heart?

Speaker 3:

This is not, but you never had an ex to be like we have some good time. And you hit. Now you got matching pajamas.

Speaker 2:

I mean it might I want to forget everything. You want to forget it, do you? Why do I want to remember?

Speaker 1:

I mean, there's one I was trying to forget, but you know.

Speaker 2:

I don't want to remember. Well, I would. If there was a button to erase all of this stuff, I would hit the button. What are we talking about? What I look like being with a new woman and oh well, at least I got these memories of my ex. What you better. Forget him.

Speaker 3:

Well, you know, you could you want to remember, because you don't want to make the same mistakes over. That's not why that has nothing on.

Speaker 2:

You just remember the bad times. I'll remember the bad times. I don't need to remember the person.

Speaker 3:

No, but let's do that. Man, in my law degree it still stands. I know what I'm talking about. Okay, so, okay. So, new year, new year, new me. New year, new me.

Speaker 4:

New year. Who it is, but I?

Speaker 3:

haven't seen. I haven't seen a lot of posts. I haven't seen a lot of new year new post. New year, new me.

Speaker 1:

Like resolutions. Yeah, well, yeah, you know nobody.

Speaker 3:

he'll be like new year, new me, new next year I'm. You know, I haven't seen a lot of those this year Like, why do y'all think that?

Speaker 2:

I've seen them. I've seen a lot of them.

Speaker 3:

I've seen a few, not much. You don't believe in a new year, new you.

Speaker 2:

No, no. What about you?

Speaker 1:

I do, and it's easy to say it is that the reason why a lot of people just dropped it is cause they go through it for like 30 days and then that's it. They're done like, oh, I'm on a diet and I'm going to do so much better, I'm going to eat healthier, I'm going to do this, I'm not going to do this anymore. And they follow through for like 30 days and they're like effort.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, someone make it like seven.

Speaker 1:

It's about pulling through with it, which is hard this new year for me. I'm going the Cougar route.

Speaker 3:

You going to be called?

Speaker 1:

No, cougar, I'm going to be a Cougar. No, cougar, cougar.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

You know, but you don't look like like, yeah, you say you 36, but like you still look like you're 20. So let's go, it's not going. You know what I'm?

Speaker 1:

saying Like I mean. I get what you're saying but I am going that route you going to Cougar route. Yeah, that's my new me.

Speaker 2:

Is that what you want for yourself? Yeah, what comes? What's that mean? What I know what it means. But yeah, for the sake, do you so? You, you done with having a meaningful relationship and you just having fun for the rest of your life, like?

Speaker 1:

what is it? No, I want I date to get somewhere. I don't just date to date, that's for sure. But you know, sometimes it's not about like the age maturity comes when it comes, true, I just feel like they're lately Older men, are a little too jealous and overprotected, and why are they commenting your pictures? And it's hurting me and I just don't have time for that.

Speaker 2:

I think you're putting a very negative stigma on me.

Speaker 1:

No, I'm talking from my experience Not everyone else's but mine so maybe I gotta try something new. You won't know until you try it right, that's true that is true.

Speaker 2:

And if it doesn't work, then why are you looking at me like that? I'm just looking, I'm just waiting.

Speaker 3:

I agree, because I dated someone that was like. You know what I'm saying. I dated somebody older and I dated. The most childish person that I think I dated was the person that me and her were the exact same age, see, and she was the most. You know this for yourself. You know, i'ma let you finish. You know who I'm talking about. I'ma let you finish. You know who I'm talking about. I'ma let you finish. But you can agree, she was one of the most childish people I had ever dated in my life.

Speaker 1:

It happens, it happens.

Speaker 3:

Like she gets the award. If there was an award, we're gonna go hand her the plaque, and I don't think many can disagree with that. I think I'm taking a risk. Can you say you're a?

Speaker 1:

risk taker. Nope, you said Wait, can we rewind from like?

Speaker 2:

Oh, we can. Okay, okay, I'm not a risk taker at all. No, I'm not going to come to that. All right, so go ahead. I got a couple things to say. New Year, new Me is completely trash. It's completely garbage. It's all false, sure? So this is New Year, new Me.

Speaker 2:

You see the word you put up their balance. That's my name. If I was a superhero, if I was a drug dealer, if I was an Indian, my Indian name would be balance. My drug dealer name would be balance. Let me tell you why I'm balance.

Speaker 2:

Y'all tripping and I started to say to myself I need to be less like me, I need to be less manly moving forward in my life. And then I said, no, quite the opposite, I am the balance. If I stop being me, I'm ruining the balance of the earth. And let me speak to you why. Because this is just going to trigger people. And y'all aggravated me because y'all tried to compare yourselves or compare. Y'all train the thought when it came specifically to the cougar thing.

Speaker 2:

Men and women are different. A man ain't a cougar. A man will likely date a younger woman. Is not the same thing. A man dating a younger woman and a woman dating a younger man is not the same thing. Statistically, and let's just be real, women for the most part mature faster than men. So if I'm with a younger woman, it's more likely she's more mature. Let's say she's 25, a 25 year old female, in most cases, is more mature than a 25 year old guy. That's just facts. Okay, right, so it is what it is. So it's not the same thing. You can't compare the two things.

Speaker 3:

Well, every situation is different because me at 25, and, like I say, this woman at 30 plus, and I was more mature than her at 30 plus.

Speaker 2:

There's an exception to every rule. Exactly, but in more cases than none, women mature faster than men, so we can't compare the two. So here's the balance. Okay, I'm going to give Lena the balance.

Speaker 4:

Oh.

Speaker 2:

Right, okay, 95% of the time, a relationship in which the man is younger than the woman, and it ain't going nowhere. Don't say that. But there's an exception to every rule. You know, elena, you don't want to just outright say you with the shenanigans. You play around and make jokes about the shenanigans. You just need to accept the fact that you're still going to be with the shenanigans and that's. It's what it is and there's nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 1:

Be with the shenanigans. Somebody tells him to sit the f down.

Speaker 2:

And that 25 year old young man is not going to do that for you. He's not.

Speaker 1:

He's going to do it this possible person in the future is not going to be 25.

Speaker 2:

Okay, anyways, it's just whatever. There's an exception to every rule. So, yeah, a younger man may be able to tell you.

Speaker 2:

Elena respectfully, I'm going to help lead. You know what I'm saying. I'm going to help lead and you need to sit down. That could possibly happen. That's not likely going to happen. In most cases it won't happen but maybe you're going to be the exception to the rule. But the balance comes as. Hey, y'all need to understand that in most cases, this is what it is. So let me tell you why I got to this point where I want more balance. Okay, this is going to sound like a silly story. Okay, I'm going to make it quick because I know I belong when I'm at work. You know I'm going to do me and my home world. We're both supervisors.

Speaker 2:

One of our team members comes up with a box of fried chicken and me and her hungry as hell. And he's like hey, y'all got chicken, y'all want chicken. And we're excited and we hungry and we you can instantly tell, yes, we want a piece of chicken. But then I stopped and I look at this weird young man and I look at his face and not. And then I realized, hold up. He walked over to us with the box of chicken wide open, okay, and then he had his head directly above the open box of fried chicken, yeah, and I'm looking at him and I'm like you look dirty, wow. And I told him that I didn't just think that. I said hold, I said wait up. I said I said I said, homegirl, wait up. I know we hungry and we excited about this chicken, but look at this young man's face. Okay, there's no way that his furry beard he buy the chicken or that he fried the chicken.

Speaker 1:

So I can't find like like publics.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Okay, that's not that.

Speaker 2:

So over the back with a full beard box open directly over the chicken. No, so I look and I said I said hey, we, I don't, we want to really think about grabbing this chicken. And then I look at his beard and this piece of chicken all over his beard. I said you, I'm not touching your chicken. I said I wanted chicken. I don't trust your face to be giving me chicken. And I walked away. She took a piece of chicken and followed me out the door. Right as you're walking, I do it. She throw the piece of chicken in the garbage. I said why you did that? Oh, I didn't want to tell them that. I don't want, and I'm the balance. No, cause I told them, somebody need to tell them. If I don't tell them, nobody's going to tell them.

Speaker 3:

I mean, I get that.

Speaker 1:

That's the deliverance is also very important. I think we've had this conversation before. You would have to say you look dirty. You could have said hey, next time that you are handing out chicken, just keep the box.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Because you know here and spit and stuff, it just didn't look tempting for me to grab a piece of chicken, that's all right.

Speaker 2:

Well, you could be that balance All right Next time you could like call me and we could like talk about it.

Speaker 1:

I'm not doing that. I can't even trust it.

Speaker 2:

I can't even trust your judgment. You with the Cougar shenanigans, I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 3:

I mean I get that, though, because you can't close yourself into a box. You're thinking like I'm only going to date this. Yeah, they just put their stuff into a box, and who's to say that? You're what. You know, the person that you're supposed to have is right outside that box.

Speaker 2:

He's with the shenanigans too, and this is what I'm talking about balance.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think that's my problem with dating, that I just settle for something and everyone's like you can't settle. You can't settle, then it is not. I'm like oh, you know, so now I'm just opening my options a little bigger. There you go, that's it. So it's like that's BS. It's like looking at a field.

Speaker 2:

You know, because Google Cougar is just another place where you're limiting your options. No, I'm not you specify Cougar, that's a limited because I've never been one. But why can't you just be what you are and say, hey, I'm going to accept younger candidates to register?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's not what you say.

Speaker 2:

I'm closing the gap on this. No, I went from like a panther to a cooler I think, like you know why didn't you know, see, but why go from a panther to a cooler and not just become a pan nougar and do both instead of one?

Speaker 1:

I mean because remember okay, remember how I say that I date. But I date and it's my, this is how I like to do it. I date one at a time. I don't do multiple times. It's just me, that's how I want to do it. So now, my little phase right now is dating one individual that's young and just testing the water and seeing and be like, do I like it here? Is it too cold, too hot, what you know? And then, if not, I go back Okay, okay, that's it Open.

Speaker 2:

It's still a load of gun. Because then what happens when now you compare your Cougar experience with this one person that you became a Cougar with? You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3:

You listed up.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I'm a mirage, but anyways but okay, so that's your new year's resolution.

Speaker 1:

I'm sticking to it.

Speaker 3:

So okay. So as far as new year's resolution right Cause I know many of them believe in me I don't necessarily like I guess a new year's resolution is kind of I have goals that I set for the year, of course. So it's not like, okay, I'm going to be this person and it's going to be like, okay, I want to reach, I want to have like the podcast Next year. I was like, okay, next year I want to have a podcast. Next year, I want to have this, I want to have the what in the floor to show it this many episodes. I want to have this many subscribers, I want to have this many. So it's more. But it's things that I take action before. So I don't wait till like the new year and be like, okay, I'm a change.

Speaker 2:

Exactly. I like that. You said your goal is out, but you are working on that goal right now.

Speaker 3:

You not waiting until the 31st. No, no, no, but these people will be like.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to wait until January 1st to go. He did say next, but that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

No, he said the goal. He hopes to reach that goal by next year. But these people are like I'm going to start towards the goal in three days. No, do it today. What so you're saying me to be a cougar today? Today, when you leave here, I want to see you at the mall.

Speaker 4:

A Panuga I want you at the Panuga.

Speaker 2:

I need you at the mall with your Panugas, oh my.

Speaker 1:

God Panuga.

Speaker 4:

Likers. I like this.

Speaker 2:

This is amazing. When you leave here, I need you to go straight to Skyzone. No, get to work, don't wait until no 31st. What are we doing?

Speaker 1:

What are we doing? Listen, I do believe in them. It's all about sticking to them. People don't stick to it, but I feel like, when it comes to January 1st, I guess that day 1-1, it's the beginning of the rest of the numbers. So I kind of give somebody that thrill, to kind of go.

Speaker 3:

I can track this now. I don't know when I start it Instead of just start, you know.

Speaker 1:

I get it.

Speaker 3:

But you do take steps and you know before that and sometimes change is hard for people.

Speaker 1:

So sometimes, yes, they do put it as January 1st and they started planning this, let's say, like mid-October, for example. Sometimes change is hard, like eating healthier is hard. Saving money when everything is so expensive is hard, you know. Trying to, you know, maintain your health, work less and be more with your family, like those things, is hard. Yeah, it's ideal, but it's hard.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but effort is instant.

Speaker 1:

That's true, and effort is starting with your list of what you're going to do, as you knew your rest of the day. Thank you, Do you know cough drugs? And maintain alcohol, that's alright.

Speaker 2:

I don't drink much so.

Speaker 1:

I'll be good. I want you tipsy by the end of the show.

Speaker 2:

Tomorrow, though, I'm gonna be lit.

Speaker 3:

Anyways. So that's my whole New Year's resolution thing. So I'll set these goals and I do it every year. I hit most of my goals this year, which I'm excited. I look back on the list that I made at the beginning of the year and I'm like, oh, I hit most of them already. You know what I'm saying yeah. Readjust my list and keep it moving.

Speaker 1:

And sometimes also keeping your list private. Some things is good too, because a lot of people advertise their goals and resolutions and then when it doesn't go through as planned, then they're disappointed in themselves. So sometimes some things are better kept to themselves.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I agree, and I write it down. I write everything down. Yeah, so I can see it, I can see it. And I'm like okay, I've got that to move towards because y'all know I'm a workaholic, so if I have something to like, push me.

Speaker 1:

We gotta do this like a vision boards for 2024?.

Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm with it, man. Come on man. I do vision boards every year.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'm okay, it helps, I don't know, I'll buy you some Elmos glue.

Speaker 1:

It's not about that, it's not about that.

Speaker 3:

You should put it on your hand and then just to fill it up. Y'all ain't never did that.

Speaker 1:

Yep, I'm zombie.

Speaker 2:

Let's do that work. Tell me, he put Elmos glue on his mustache and he just sits on that. What? Kind of people you work with, that's the real question, yeah, like where are you working and who are these people? Can you?

Speaker 1:

yeah, inbox me.

Speaker 2:

Listen, that's why I hope to never lose this job. I have nothing to talk about this guy and I said why you do that? He says cheaper than Joe. I said just pay that extra dollar for Joe bro Right Like 30 cents.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, joe and Dollar General.

Speaker 3:

Bro, but he just twirling his beard.

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna tell you this human being is out of the line. But anyway, is this the same person with the?

Speaker 3:

chicken.

Speaker 4:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

Okay, that's why he didn't take the chicken.

Speaker 4:

You know what?

Speaker 3:

Well, I mean now, I understand.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because it was gonna taste like glue, I got it.

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna keep a PZ13 at the last party we had. Oh, that was him. He was one of the time when he like going to things in a closet with a thing in the closet.

Speaker 1:

Okay, we gotta go and do it. Yeah, I'm not gonna do it. That's the guy.

Speaker 2:

Oh my goodness, you were the chicken shick.

Speaker 3:

No.

Speaker 2:

So shouldn't I have told him hey, you dirty Get your chicken away from me.

Speaker 3:

No, you should have said that, oh no he no, thank you.

Speaker 1:

I don't like my chicken with glue.

Speaker 2:

He gets the dirty, fix yourself before you serve he should have never told you that. That's why. And they got nothing to do with that. No, they got nothing to do with that. And he was doing yoga and pajamas at work. At work, it was pajama day.

Speaker 3:

He was doing yoga and pajama At this point what is going on with the people at your job?

Speaker 1:

For real. I need you to. I can't leave, bro, because then what happens?

Speaker 4:

Like the office.

Speaker 2:

No, it's not that they need me. I'd probably I wouldn't have interesting things to this level to talk about.

Speaker 3:

The office. But like remember, we came up with the idea of what's going to do like a series about working in a call center and we were and stuff like that. Bro, we got to still do the series. I'm down, we just got to find a building that would let us shoot.

Speaker 3:

I'm not pretty sure we can find that, but yeah we could find a small private call center and have stuff like that, because that's based on the truth. So you can't make that stuff. Yeah, no, no, as you walking into work and he just doing yoga and some pajamas, you know go home.

Speaker 1:

You know how some people wake up in the morning and they're like, oh, do I need this job that I'm at? And he wakes up and it's like all right time to get ready to see the shenanigans for today.

Speaker 3:

Not even thinking about it. I'm not going to lie. When I work there it's worse from what many describe is worse now, but used to see things back then that you'd be like why are you doing this? I think we got bored when we start working from home and that's when I was like I really want to work it, but we were in the office. I'm not going to lie.

Speaker 2:

It was. I was thinking that, as much like I love this place, like too much that happens, I have to find a way to stay here for as long as possible.

Speaker 1:

I have to talk about them. I don't think it'll be there much longer.

Speaker 2:

I mean, but it can't prove anything.

Speaker 4:

Oh, because then they'd have to be like yeah, that's why you have served dirty chicken.

Speaker 2:

Somebody say something. Nobody wants to do that Go beard guy with the dirty chicken.

Speaker 3:

It is Before many cities. Me and Manny's brother are tight. We're cool people. Me and Manny's whole family were cool. But Manny's going to say something. I didn't agree with it before the show, but Manny wants to get this off his chest.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he actually took it off of the list of things to talk about. I did Because I ride with my brother. I'm not cool with my brother. You know. It's really, you see that more messed up. If you asked me why I'm not cool with my brother, I don't really quite remember the story, but I'm a man of morals and I stick to it. You told me that before.

Speaker 4:

I do know he was running his mom's about something that got nothing to do with him.

Speaker 2:

I remember that part of it, okay, anyways, so my brother man, this is part his fault, part not. So I pull up to this Christmas party, this family Christmas before.

Speaker 3:

Can you even be the judge on if it's his fault or not?

Speaker 1:

Yes, please.

Speaker 2:

Sure.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

Now, mind you, I don't care what your decision is, but if it's fun for you all to do that, what is your decision?

Speaker 2:

Well, I'm at the party Objects, this family party, right, and we're having a good time, and there's this chick. She's bad, don't know her, she's a friend of one of my cousins, okay. But yeah, we start talking and we start vibing. Okay, it's obvious, we vibing Whatever. We having a good time, we vibing man, I go get a plate of chicken, I turn around and I look and he pulled up on it. Bro, heart body, heart body. Okay, now, I'm not mad, she's not my girl. Correct To the victor goal of the spoils. Yeah, yeah, you know, but at the same time, if you were real one. So that's, that's B, that's all. It's that simple as B, okay.

Speaker 2:

Well, okay, cause you know you want to go first you want me to go and, mind you, this is the second time this has happened, so this is becoming a.

Speaker 1:

Oh, so this is the.

Speaker 2:

This is a thing.

Speaker 1:

Ah, see, if I say it happened once like let it go, who cares? I mean, I don't know how there wasn't going to be no good for you anyways. You know blood thicker than water, but if it happens more than once, then I feel like you're trying to be in competition with me and I don't like that because we're related.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, that's that's where I'm at. So I feel like maybe yes, because you just told me this is not the first time. I understand. I mean it shouldn't be beef. Just don't bring your girl around me to play.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and it's not beef cause I'm not. It's not beef cause I'm not a hater, but you know what you are and I'm going to keep it in the back of my mind, Can I?

Speaker 3:

ask a question. Yeah, did he know that you and this girl was by?

Speaker 2:

that's why I made it a point to say, yes, we were vibing and it was obvious to everybody. Oh, so you made it like cause you could tell you know and like and especially when you were family they like. Look at those two over there, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you know what I'm saying Everybody was doing. Have you ever been like, have you always been in competition with your brother though Like since little kids like who runs faster, who eats fat?

Speaker 2:

No, oh that was me and my brother. Now I just want to point out, cause I like to point this out, linus being mad, disrespectful Rudy smirking over there, so he may have picked it up. What? Why? The first two things who runs faster, who eats the most?

Speaker 1:

Because that's the first two things that you do as competition, as kids.

Speaker 2:

That's crazy. Who eats the fastest? Yeah, what.

Speaker 1:

You've never been in a table and your mom says, okay, whoever finishes first and stuff, I don't have to watch it. You know the dish is like it's always a competition. I want it, I want it and what can you do?

Speaker 2:

You're just defending these people all the time.

Speaker 3:

These people, that was me with my brother, all right, anyway, that was me with my brother, anyways but she made me lose my train of thought.

Speaker 2:

Anyways, yes, it was obvious, but whatever.

Speaker 3:

I remember you telling something like this before Like I remember the first story, but I didn't know what happened again. Yeah, you know me and your brother are cool. Yeah, but I can't defend him on this one. Yeah, if it was obvious, and I know you and I know how that situation would play out. So he had to see it and I can't, I can't blame you. I can't blame you for being, you know, having beat.

Speaker 2:

But even if this situation didn't happen, what made my brothers up? If? It's up then it's not because you don't remember what happened.

Speaker 3:

This ain't even that serious.

Speaker 2:

It means really, but it just happened. But you know you want to throw extra frosting on this cake, let's do this. Was it the first time I met this?

Speaker 3:

shit. So question yeah, because that's 22,000, 23,. I guess, yeah, what are some of your like? So I know everybody, I know you're back on a year 2023 and you be like what are those moments that stand out to you as far as like great moments?

Speaker 2:

Um, 2023 was ugly, but I'm going to do this because I'm always fighting with wicks on this show the greatest moment for 2023. I can't think of a moment. I'm just thinking of 2023 as a whole. Yeah, um, I got to thank you, right, because I don't want to be here. I don't want to do this. Yeah, you do, but I do now, right?

Speaker 2:

So what I'm trying to say is coming into this, I he knows I was like out of this social media. I don't want to do this, but that's my dog. So if he says, hey, I want your support on this, back me up, jump in on this with me. I went into it, not wanting us to do it, but that's my dog, he's done it for me, I'm going to do it for him. So that, like, coming into this, like this, give me a reason not to be so damn grumpy all the time. Um, and like the different adventures we went on yeah, he's trying to be a Rudy into outdoors, but now saw the therapeutic to it is the outlet Because many, when we first came into this, many wanted to be behind the camera.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

And it was like you know what we was having conversations. We're like you know what man, we need you on camera and then is it because of this? Huh, because of what? What?

Speaker 2:

do you mean?

Speaker 1:

Your facial expressions.

Speaker 3:

Uh that's a part of it. That's a part of it. We've been on podcasts together before, so he knows me and me trying to host a podcast and go through different topics. He knows like I'm better at it now but like that wasn't my strong suit, so normally he would you watch like the early episodes. He would pick up, um, and then you came and boom, it works I think we got a dream.

Speaker 2:

Why are you looking at me like that?

Speaker 3:

Um, I would say, I think the moment 2023, you want to go first?

Speaker 1:

I don't. 2023, 2022 and 2023 have not been nice to me, but I'm trying to remain positive. I have to try to keep myself pushing, telling myself it will get better Eventually. I'm hoping 2024 is better. Yeah, I wish it's full of health, happiness, love, and I'm pretty sure everyone wants that. I think the best memories of 2023 has been recently and it has been, you know, born in America, visiting my family. Um, yeah, I think that's like.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, unfortunately, yeah, I took 11 months for something positive, but it is what it is, yeah, at least it did happen, and I know that next year is going to be better for all of us.

Speaker 2:

You got to push the button. You know what I'm saying. You got to push the button and move forward.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes you have to tell everybody. No, no, we're not, we're not going to do it. We're not going to do it.

Speaker 3:

I think 2023 for me, um, just like I said, y'all know I was doing the content creation thing, but I think being able to do the podcast, doing all of these like adventures, because I was able to like, I think the scuba diving was like the one that really like opened my mind, to like, okay, I can do all of this other stuff that I'd never. I grew up, I've been in Florida my whole life. Like I said, I just turned 40, uh, the 27th, and I've never done any of this stuff. And then now I'm just like scuba diving. We went Python hunting and we went uh, I never caught up.

Speaker 1:

Where is my souvenir? We didn't find where is my pictures? That?

Speaker 2:

we can start, we can have this conversation on camera.

Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, we'll talk to you about this. We will tell you. Let me set an alarm for this conversation later by the way we're going back.

Speaker 3:

So be ready, we're going back, yeah, but there's a lot that went on, but we didn't need this to say we didn't see it. We've seen. We didn't see any, oh okay, it's fine, better that's it. But it's starting to go into like colder, colder season, so we're going to. They're out more now, so we'll be able to go. Next time we go We'll probably be able to, you know, get our hands on one.

Speaker 4:

All right.

Speaker 3:

Um, but yeah, so, but yeah, I would say, these adventures and being able to, you know, have these shows and things, and I feel like they made my 2023 a lot better, because it gave me like a sense of like you know, like I say, even with content creation, it was a repeat thing. It's like, okay, you wake up, you create content, you go, you know what I'm saying and then now it's like okay, I got these shows and I enjoy that way more. So I would say that and and y'all, y'all have made 2023. Lena came later, uh, but, like I say, even with y'all, I feel like we got Lena how are you acting skills?

Speaker 2:

I don't know, you feel like you, can be an actress.

Speaker 4:

We'll put it to the test, all right, but I like that.

Speaker 1:

I'm gonna try. I got an idea. Don't touch me.

Speaker 2:

No, nader. I got an idea for 2024 that I've been working on as of now.

Speaker 4:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

Not later. So what's up about it? Look at you, what's up about it Leader.

Speaker 3:

You rubbed off on it. You rubbed off some positivity on it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I like it. My positivity just comes with a different delivery.

Speaker 3:

You see how his face gets when you see it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Sometimes positivity is a punch in the face. You just don't realize it. You know what I'm saying. I'm the punch in the face, not to you, but you know. That's my positivity, that's the brand it comes with.

Speaker 3:

All right. So I feel like we got to a good point now. We all in positive spirit, yes, and I feel like it's the best time to talk about the best, the craziest Florida story that 2023. I feel like we reached it. We reached the point. We're all in positive spirit. Man, he's on cough drops. He going off them cough drops.

Speaker 1:

He's drunk right now.

Speaker 2:

I'm a little off of this Drop. Call me cherry drop.

Speaker 3:

His new name coming forward 2020. Oh, it's cherry drop. So I got some. I got some crazy Florida stories that I say we all have some off the top of our head. It's all I can think of. That's like. This is wild.

Speaker 2:

I got a, I got a couple, but not Florida.

Speaker 2:

But okay let's let me talk about the first one. I didn't know about this. I don't know if y'all heard about this Cause. When we were talking about wrapping this up and the things, I was like, let me just go online and do some research. What kind of things happened in 2023? And there's a couple of things I found that I didn't even know happened and I'm just like, wow. So one thing I found a Mexican drug cartel. Okay, customize their magazine clips on their rifles With a picture of Lana Del Rey, the Mexican drug cartel. And it was all cause she had two sold out concerts in a city. So then I'm so confused that that exactly. And I was like what would the Florida version be of that? If I'm in Florida and I want to represent something hard on my magazine clip, what am I put on there?

Speaker 3:

I'll put the pop, I'll put the pop and then when you take the clip, I it's like the meat and you just the chicken tenders inside the clip.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's. I was thinking like I would see a lot of FSU magazine clips around here.

Speaker 3:

FSU. Yeah, nah, cause it's more Florida Gator fan, is it?

Speaker 2:

Well, I feel like, are the FSU fans louder than the Florida Gator fans? Cause I feel like I always hear them more than the Gator fans.

Speaker 3:

You don't want to know why. Okay, so I'm an FSU fan. The thing is, with FSU we're more calm, Like FSU fans are more, and I'm a cowboy. So I'm going to say this Gator fans are like cowboy spin and a lot of teams you know a lot of people when they're Gator spend, they're either cowboy spend, by the way, they're like cowboy spin. So Gator fans will complain when they lose. You know what I'm saying. They like I don't even know how to explain. I think in this area we do have more FSU fans, Right?

Speaker 2:

That's what I feel like I would see around here in this area. And then the last one I want to talk about we're not talking about. We're not talking about politics. I hate politics. Yeah, I don't do politics.

Speaker 1:

But I just want to say something real quick.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, joe Biden's dog apparently has been attacking mad people this year, like multiple people. I didn't know.

Speaker 1:

Like he's aggressive with other people.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Like I know he's physically attacked. What kind of dog is it there's?

Speaker 3:

been a lot of these German shepherds.

Speaker 2:

There's been at least four attacks.

Speaker 3:

Are you serious? This dog is really a part of.

Speaker 2:

But, here's what I'm thinking. I'm taking a step further. I'm talking about politics. We moved on, please. I think his brain has been transferred into the dog, so the dog's more active than him, it's like a Disney movie.

Speaker 4:

The dog is doing what he's supposed to do.

Speaker 2:

They did a parent trap and they swapped. Oh, anyway that I was like, wow, this happened. That's crazy and I love it, yeah, and thank you.

Speaker 1:

I've only seen it like once, but it wasn't an attack. It was like someone tried to get close and it did go crazy, but it didn't attack.

Speaker 2:

That's what leads to attacks. But yeah, there've been at least four, but anyway that's that is crazy.

Speaker 4:

I got some good ones Okay.

Speaker 3:

I got to know which way to start with. Okay, okay. So we got the Florida woman that tries to bring a four foot emotional support snake on the plane. Samuel Jackson would have went crazy Boy.

Speaker 2:

Did she like it's some type of permission before brain, or she just brought it?

Speaker 3:

Cause they you know how people have like their emotional support pets. Oh, you know, some people take that and I guess hers was a snake and she decided that it would be a good idea to bring this emotional support snake. This is so we're put, so it's not like a little snake.

Speaker 1:

Is there anything saying what pets could be an emotional support pet?

Speaker 2:

No, that's a crazy question.

Speaker 1:

So it could be anything.

Speaker 2:

That's the thing, is that once you let somebody do one thing, the people are going to take it, cause I remember the peacock the emotional support peacock.

Speaker 4:

I've seen the the gator. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I never saw the snake one that peacock to me is drilled into my brain Cause the way I saw it sit on a chair.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Like a person and not interact. Attack, be loud or anything is beyond me.

Speaker 3:

Especially a peacock. Yeah, I've seen the mini horse. I've seen the mini horse. Are you all ready for the next one?

Speaker 4:

Go ahead.

Speaker 3:

Florida man. I guess he was out and he I guess the cops on him, and he has a shirt on that says I have drugs, and I guess he was arrested because he had drugs. Wait, wait, wait wait, wait.

Speaker 1:

So he says it says I have drugs. But he really was.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, who needs drugs?

Speaker 2:

No, seriously, I have them, so he had this shirt on, the cop saw and they're like huh, can we search?

Speaker 3:

And they found drugs on it.

Speaker 1:

So he's an idiot.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, oh yeah, now I don't, I don't. Let's see, I got one that might talk.

Speaker 1:

I mean, he looks like he does drugs. Okay, that was mean.

Speaker 3:

No, no, that's, that's the truth.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Now I'm still balanced, I'm talking. I have one that may top the other way, that may top all the ones we talked so far.

Speaker 3:

Yes, Should I? Should I go to another one before that?

Speaker 2:

If it's the one that you feel like is on the top everything, I think we should save the best for last, okay.

Speaker 3:

Shirtless Florida man found climbing the tree like Tarzan while in a police chase. Was he?

Speaker 2:

How good was he Any?

Speaker 3:

type of medication and drugs he was. I saw. I saw the video. So you know I watched these like shows, the road wars customer, all those type of shows, and one day I'm watching it, and most of those are Florida. By the way, I'm just letting y'all know if y'all watched these cop shows people impersonating cops, wild police chase most of those are Florida and it's crazy. So he was running from the police. He crashed the car. He's running, so the police are chasing him. One of the police is standing there and they're looking up and he's in the tree trying to swing. But was he good? No, he went, so he there rehearsed this.

Speaker 2:

No, no, no, I don't think you can read something.

Speaker 3:

This was definitely off the brain. Like he didn't grab the right branch of nothing, he went and tried to swing.

Speaker 1:

What part of Florida was this? Do you remember?

Speaker 3:

I don't remember what part of Florida, because I mean there's an area that is really popular.

Speaker 1:

for what is it? Bath salts, and I feel like that's like bath salt.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he was driving pretty good though you gotta give him an E for effort. I mean but you had to see how he hit the ground, though it was like a tall tree.

Speaker 1:

Was it like the sound that got you? That's like the best part of a video.

Speaker 3:

It's not all.

Speaker 1:

That is the sound of thump and you just like, oh shoot.

Speaker 3:

And he was just on the ground and they didn't have no sympathy from him falling out of a tree. They just kind of, like you know, got on his back and he was like I'm hurt, I'm like I'm pretty sure you came down hard.

Speaker 2:

Well, you just like a frozen iguana boy hit that ground Like they said. We'll talk about that later.

Speaker 3:

Um, okay, so I got one more and then I'm going to get to the winner Florida woman, I guess she was, oh my gosh. So they were having like a town meeting, right, and I want to say Miami, oh, boca Raton planning a zoning board, but so a zoning board meeting, okay, she decided that was the opportunity to take to try to get a national sugar daddy day, like she decided in the zoning meeting.

Speaker 1:

I know who she is, I follow her.

Speaker 3:

You follow her. Wait a minute. So this is, this is a real thing.

Speaker 1:

She's been a sugar baby since, um, she was very, very young and she has one daughter and she is teaching her daughter, that is, I think. If I'm not mistaken, she's anywhere between 11 and 14. She's teaching her how to be a sugar baby.

Speaker 3:

So she's like they're thrilled about this.

Speaker 1:

I mean she's wealthy. This is what she's done her whole life. She's like very, very wealthy.

Speaker 3:

You think she can show me like I need?

Speaker 4:

Oh, and she's not.

Speaker 3:

We got to get on the show, we got to um yeah she's big about this.

Speaker 1:

I remember she was doing this. Yeah, she's been doing this for a while and they keep turning her down.

Speaker 3:

So she'd be going at this hey, we need to have a sugar daddy day. And they like come on, get out of here, yeah, wait.

Speaker 2:

But it says sugar daddy appreciation day, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, okay, so appreciate the sugar daddy, I don't, I'm not against it, I'm not.

Speaker 1:

I'm not against it because she's trying to say being a Sugar daddy it's not a responsibility, is a full-time job, so they should be appreciated. But she also said that sugar babies are also like it's also a job. Because she does say like you know, they call me and I'm busy, like I sometimes have to drop what I'm doing To cater to them, so it is a job. She is very like, determined about this, like she is diehard About this situation.

Speaker 3:

I support her dedication. I mean my father's day, mother's day, sugar daddy day.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

You know what?

Speaker 2:

Y'all make it seem like I'm the only one that's filth on the earth. But y'all came out with it before I did because I was actually thinking I'm gonna keep it to myself. But I also poured it, not cuz I don't support these shenanigans, but men already are unappreciated, especially as far as holidays go. So if this is gonna give some type of man some appreciation, then I guess I can support it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but she okay, go ahead.

Speaker 2:

Wait, no, say what.

Speaker 1:

You know that the majority of these sugar daddies are married. That gun so so that's not okay, cuz you're also condoning.

Speaker 2:

Cheating well, I've never, but that's something you're adding personally. Yeah, tell me if you disagree. When I think of sugar daddy's in that relationship, I'm a man being married never. I didn't know that that's common.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and I know there's people in relationships that condone that are okay where their spouse. Yeah female or male having a little fun outside the marriage, and good for them. But I saw you're not communicating to your partner and letting them know hey, babe, I love you, but I also want to be a sugar daddy. And she says I'm okay with that, good for you. But if she says I'm not okay with that, you got to respect it, and I do it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, if it's a.

Speaker 1:

Communication. So, who knows, maybe these should some of these sugar daddy see, do have this.

Speaker 2:

I just put my point. This, how she just put my point men are not allowed to have any celebrations or any days. Cuz Lena just turned the pre-sheet Hold on. Lena just turned the appreciation of sugar daddy's too. But what about the plight of the married women?

Speaker 3:

but there's sugar mom, I'm a pseudo yeah it works.

Speaker 4:

It works way.

Speaker 1:

Listen, I'm okay with it as long as their partner is aware of it and they're okay with it and they're happy and they come to an agreement.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, but that's not what makes you happy.

Speaker 2:

I appreciate you know this has nothing to do with this appreciation. It's on y'all to fill in the background. I don't support infidelity.

Speaker 4:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

I support honesty, but that's not what this is about. Okay, we are just so we're assuming we're celebrating single sugar daddy's, okay. Okay, let's do that.

Speaker 3:

That's what okay. Widow, widow. What is it? Widow? It's the same thing for a man a Widow, I don't know. Yeah, they're called a widow or okay. Yeah, so it was like it, because that happens to. You know, they don't want to get Re-married or try to find, so they'll find, like, somebody to take or take.

Speaker 2:

Take your wife or husband out of the game.

Speaker 3:

Then do this wait, no, no, no, we're not saying that.

Speaker 2:

we're not saying that wait, what are you talking?

Speaker 3:

about.

Speaker 2:

We're not saying that oh no, I didn't mean killing nobody. What's wrong with you? Everybody like wait a minute, I'm saying, and the relationship. I'm not trying to make more Carol.

Speaker 3:

Baskins Okay okay, Okay.

Speaker 4:

Well, they found her husband.

Speaker 3:

He's alive. Yeah, they found her husband.

Speaker 2:

I didn't know that. Carol Baskins, you might be the first one breaking the news.

Speaker 3:

A couple years ago. They found it that they seen it make listen. Y'all know it's the Florida story, so y'all know when Florida stories happen it's Carol Baskins by the by temple. Yeah, things happen, you know they're gonna get sent to me. So how?

Speaker 2:

did Joe exotic take that, because this is what he was running with his whole life? I don't know.

Speaker 1:

I mean he is. He's in jail. Yeah, we need to research more.

Speaker 2:

Hey, this lady look a hot mess. So last last story. Oh, this wasn't the one, though.

Speaker 3:

This isn't the way, ooh Florida man breaks in the church, baptizes himself before stealing the money.

Speaker 1:

He was asking for forgiveness before he did that wait, read say that all over again.

Speaker 3:

Man breaks in the Florida church. What a man breaks in the Florida church, baptizes himself before spilling the money Church. They have money they, when they get the collection played and donations and stuff they have money they got money. The building fun there's so much, so do y'all agree this is the worst one.

Speaker 2:

Wait, did he do this? Well, he had to do it during a service. This was just an all this wasn't I'm saying, but he had to do it during a live service, cuz. Then there would have been no money, no, no they have a safe. Oh, it's in the back.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, they have money. They don't like they. They keep the money.

Speaker 1:

They keep it there for lots of reason to donate, to buy for the church the food.

Speaker 3:

You see the ice cube and Tracy, probably like all right, you see the ice cube and Tracy. Morgan movie. Yo, what they broke into the church with cat.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, but that was live while people was there, right?

Speaker 3:

No, but they had a lot of money stored. Yeah, remember, but wow.

Speaker 1:

They're not gonna put in a bank, or let people know cuz I'm they gotta pay taxes. Yeah keep it at the church, hit him.

Speaker 2:

No, but they always got a deal is that the voting, our voting, happens there, so that's why they're allowed to get away. That's because they use their buildings. Is voting poll.

Speaker 3:

But they definitely got their reason. But they know they don't want to be Cuz I see an all pastor or preacher. He was on trial because he was doing things with the money for himself.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's not supposed to, but it was because it was putting in banks and stuff and he was taking the money from what they were supposed to use it for the user for himself, and they had him up their own trials. I like it's like a lot of things that be going on behind the scenes but a lot of them keep the money there. But he broke in but I think it's the fact that he baptized himself.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, I was like I wanted. I wish I want to sit with him and talk with him. Yeah, there's a lot of psychological things because you know, he's going through something. Yeah, you know, you're not going through the bus and the steel stuff, the fact that you took the time to baptize yourself.

Speaker 1:

I want to ask him why he did that going through something, he's emotionally going through something and he knew that he's reached his limit and he has to take it to this extreme to rob a church and he's just asking for forgiveness before he even does it.

Speaker 2:

Or or I don't know what order?

Speaker 3:

or what if he broke into baptize himself and then saw the money was like I'm just gonna take this whip and they just forget the fact that you just dip yourself in holy water.

Speaker 2:

They can't be mad at him. He baptized. That's why we got to talk to him too, because, listen to this, though what if?

Speaker 1:

he knew something about that.

Speaker 2:

We got, we got what if he knew something about this church that we don't, and it's some Robin Hood thing and he's gonna take the money to, for sure, use it for good. It's maybe where it was. It wasn't gonna be used for good. That's a bit of layers and that's why we need to talk to him.

Speaker 1:

I'm so, in between this, like I feel like if he would, I broken and took the money, I would have been like, oh, he's such a thief, he's such a jerk that he shouldn't do this at the church. But the fact that he baptized himself, my damn, I feel bad.

Speaker 3:

Okay, see, exactly, so now you're, so now.

Speaker 1:

It's like do you do that on purpose? Yes, you could feel bad.

Speaker 3:

Because they think you can't say he's a bad person.

Speaker 1:

I feel like if you have to go from me, I want to donate.

Speaker 3:

Yes, what? Well I can say you can't feel like he's a bad person because he baptized himself. So I feel like he's. He was a genius. Yeah, the guy was a genius, he knew exactly what a jail. Yeah, but you know like I Wonder what that conversation would have been. I'm out, it just happened in August, so it just recently happened, so. But I feel like this tops all the rest of the.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I mean even the guy that slapped the woman with the pizza I Wanted.

Speaker 2:

No more about that too, but anyways, we got a little one, that one one, but that was the one. That was the one. Yeah, there's layers. Even the sugar daddy appreciation day, the Tarzan, the appreciation one is a close second. Yeah, for sure, because I like when people have the nerve is what we call it.

Speaker 1:

And I like that about the city the Grinch lady that we talked about.

Speaker 2:

We got to see but I feel like that that Grinch lady was a setup.

Speaker 4:

What happened.

Speaker 3:

Okay, natural, I don't know. So this actually just happened During Christmas time. So there's this woman in Lehigh. Actually, she reported all of her gifts, though happening. I just happened in Lehigh. I thought I thought I told you so she reported all her gifts stolen like from her house.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, okay what the crazy part is. This lady went on the news and everything. So she was on the news. The police came, she was on the news. She did this whole thing about how her gifts were stolen. Well, I guess the police received an anonymous tip. They said was component her friends, because I went I found her Facebook and she was posting. You can't trust your friends, stuff like that. But I Guess they went to the friend's house that she was hiding the gift, that because she was getting donations so people were replacing the gift and this is why people don't donate.

Speaker 1:

This is the reason why people are sometimes like you know. You see that person in the street asking for money and sometimes he adds bogus, but sometimes people really need it. That's you're taking our trust away. Situate you making us not trust when you do stuff. This is so greedy to me that that really irks me. I don't like it.

Speaker 3:

It's gonna get better when I tell you what ended up happening to her. Not the jail part I mean, she deserve it, but the okay. So what happened was, after they got anonymous tip, they went to the friend's house. They found the gifts Mm-hmm. They came back to arrest her. But Lee County is petty, so why they were arresting her? They have the news they're arresting her. They have the Grinch Walking behind her who was dressed as the Grinch, the police department, I don't know who you better stop I kid you not sure many other video.

Speaker 1:

Well, you know our lead sheriff here.

Speaker 3:

I think he's trying to do a little petty. We know that whole county thing.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's. He's very petty, so I believe that, yeah, I could have been one of the police officers, and then our hard-earned Tax money is going through towards that costume.

Speaker 3:

Okay, so I'll say this I supported I. Would have bought the costume myself. Not that's not for her specifically, but because the video is that much more epic. Now I'm gonna show you the video and you gonna be like see it because basically they were arresting her. She had a head down. You know they do it.

Speaker 1:

I know I was gone for a while, so I don't know what's been going on. I need to see this.

Speaker 3:

And then the Grinch, it wasn't just walking behind, it was like yeah, it went, they went in, they went in and plus they're gonna be able to use that every Christmas.

Speaker 2:

That's gonna be great yeah.

Speaker 1:

You.

Speaker 3:

Yes and we need that. Yes, they're wild. They're wild for this floor, listen.

Speaker 1:

But only stuff like this behind the dryer.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, they found all the stuff that she said was stolen a sheet of tea, two TVs. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, she needs.

Speaker 2:

Extension. You know she all they went in. I Support this. I usually you know. You know I support this.

Speaker 3:

No, I don't okay, I think they say she's from, like, fort Lauderdale, but she moved over to this side.

Speaker 1:

That is because she probably did it over there.

Speaker 2:

Yeah but that's pretty crazy. Sometimes that's a successful business. You got to keep moving. You got to just keep moving, that's not successful.

Speaker 1:

That's cheating.

Speaker 2:

It was so now. It was so now. All right, so.

Speaker 3:

We got. We got to the end of cheap way. What's up Wait?

Speaker 1:

but before we forget. We talked about the resolution. Do you have one in mind?

Speaker 2:

I told you how my resolution is to be more like myself, but your number one, like for sure, is that be more like yourself.

Speaker 1:

Cuz you know you have plenty.

Speaker 2:

No, that's the number one. Yeah, yeah, and there's show that I'm do that. We're gonna test your acting skills on.

Speaker 1:

That's my goal, like we said, go and I started working on my goal before what is your number one?

Speaker 3:

my number one is To. That's a hard way. It's not hard because there's more so in these shows. So I would say continuing to grow the podcast is like my number one, and then these other shows outside of that. So continue to grow the shows and growing the network and Seeing where we go at. You know, we're having 24 hats for us.

Speaker 4:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

Okay about you honestly.

Speaker 1:

No, no, the the cougar, you know for sure. But my number one Is I had a few health scares and people think, oh, you're petite, that other than that but Pity, people could still get sick. I do eat like a man. I am the girl that gets two cheeseburgers with the double meat and A large soda, like that's me, and I think I've been abusing it because I've always been thin. That I just assume. All you know. My jeans are good. I'm never gonna get sick. It's starting to catch up. So definitely it will be To try my best to eat healthier, healthier snacks, especially Because I do eat heavy meals like about four or five a day, and then snack in between.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I'm gonna let you know. Not them young boys, they gonna help you with that. They don't know how to cut. They hear the word broccoli and they're like Somebody gonna teach them? Yeah, you have to. Sometimes, at 36 year old, you want to teach a child, so you got time for that. I ain't teaching. I got time to teach children but I'm good, especially if they not my actual to.

Speaker 1:

You know, she just triggered again and health is well, then in order for us to accomplish our resolutions, we have to have help that is that of the fact and we're gonna speak into existence and it's gonna happen, because we're positive people, that's right, I agree, a positive, positive people yeah, positive Motivation. I'm trying to sprinkle, I'm trying to be like think about with a positivity and the glitter and I felt it. Yeah, thank you. Thank you.

Speaker 2:

Well, she said, take a bow. I got a little excited. I.

Speaker 3:

What I got to leave with the people.

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna provide the balance. I'm Get ready for balance, okay.

Speaker 3:

Okay, what you're gonna leave with the people.

Speaker 1:

Believe in. You knew your resolutions. Try to stick to it. Don't be bummed out if it doesn't go through that it does exist. You just have to keep motivating yourself. Don't lose your faith and keep pushing forward.

Speaker 3:

I like that. I Like that, all right, so mine my shine. Don't you? Don't you ruin this, don't you rain on this moray? All right, so mine Be positive. Y'all Many don't like the word. The word positive is triggered. No, you was being positive the whole episode, so this is not about you. Well, not the whole episode some of it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so um, I would say Believe in what you can do, believe in you. I'm doing this to trigger you. This is all. This is all part of the plan. Now I'm just glad, but yeah, I do, um, believe in what you could do. 2024, you can reset, you can do whatever you need to do. Continue being great. Push the button, push the button. I should have never Push the button and we ought to hear y'all cue my theme music.
